Ok, short post because it's 10pm already. Jason and I frolicked up 6 pitches of trad climbing today (Tunnel Vision, 5.6), and what is notable is that we SWAPPED LEADS! Usually I follow Jason up trad routes, but this time we alternated being the leader. I had fun, felt accomplished, and had some route finding issues on the last pitch. But obviously we made it down safely, woohoo! We shared the route with a very kind uncle/nephew pair.
Sadly, Jason lost his phone at some point on the descent off the route. Our plan is to get up early, since it's going to rain tomorrow afternoon, and try to retrace our descent and find the ol semiconductor brick. Wish us luck!
