Ok- very few pictures today - we drove to the Homestead Crater, where we dipped into 93F waters in a natural cenote. The website’s picture do it better justice anyway, so here you go:

We weren't just being tourists- we headed to the Crater so that I could complete my SCUBA certification! After diving in the Denver Aquarium, with its cooler waters and cramped space, this felt like being in the world's biggest, deepest natural hot tub. While the Aquarium boasted way more fish (the Crater had zilch), it felt liberating to have so much space to move in. I'm going to lose my mind when I dive in an ocean for the first time!
Jason snorkeled while I dove, and now and then I’d glance over and just see his purple rental snorkel sticking out from the warm water’s surface like a lighthouse. The experience was overall fantastic, and if you're ever in Park City, Utah or thereabouts I would highly recommend a dip at the Homestead Crater!
Our evening was spent at a table at Whole Foods, where we bought salad mix, concocted it there, and had a nice dinner at a table yet again (yesterday we ate dinner at Fiona’s house). We also might have microwaved some frozen food from a competitor. A little bit of laptop research made me remember my former life spending a LOT of time plastered to a computer screen, which I have mixed feelings about. I've love learning, I love data, and the fact of the matter is the days of the abacus and ruled notebook are in the past. I'll be curious how I readjust to having a Job and a “Normal” life again in the future, but for now- it’s van life and adventure!
P.S. I passed, and I am officially an Open Water Diver now!
